Straw Hat Prototype: 001

This is what I have been working on for the last few days. The very first Imperial Fiddlesticks mini Straw Hat! Only the base is done so far but I wanted to show it to you anyway! It is all stiched by hand and, although it's not perfect, I'm really happy with the result!

Ruby Iniquity Mini Tophat

This is a very simple but gorgeous mini tophat that goes well with just about any aristocratic outfit. The base is a simple black cotton and it is decorated with blood red trim and ribbons. The ribbon also forms a bow in the back. It has both a comb and two ribbon hoops on the underside to which two hairclips can be attached so you can wear it easily.

Midsummer Meadow Mini Hat

This beautiful hat is perfect for the Spring and summer months. It has a creme colored base and trim and is decorated with lace and a lot of summery flowers. It has a comb as well as two hair clips attached to two ribbon hoops on the underside so it can be worn easily.

Uppcon 11 - Artist Alley Photos

Here are some pictures of my table at the Artist's Alley at Uppcon in June. As you can see I finished quite a lot of hats and other accessories just in time for the event. As a result I was dead tired when Uppcon was done with and I haven't really had the energy to upload anything here since then. I was taking a bit of a vacation, I suppose. But! I had a pretty nice time there and I sold quite a few things~

These first pics were taken by some friends of mine when they were visiting my table.

And the rest were taken by me.

I made a lot of hairbow clips just the week before Uppcon.

And some new Corsages as well.

And more hats, of course!

More information about each new hat and corsage will come soon. Unfortunately, I'm not at home right now, and I didn't write down all the prices and other information before I left so some info might be missing regarding each hat. But that will be rectified as soon as I get back home in August!

Captain Cthulhu Mini Tricorne

A gorgeous Tricorne that I am really proud of. It is black and green and decorated with ostrich plumes, a peacock feather, green trim and the stones from a pair of old earrings that I got from my mother. It has a comb attached to the underside as well as two small hoops of ribbons where you can easily attach hairclips.

Deadly Nightshade Minihat

Yet another one of my new hats. I was rather stressed while making this since it had to be ready for the Lolita Fleemarket but now that it's done I am really very happy with it. It is relatively small, about 15cm wide and 7cm high, and it has a black base that has been decorated with dark blue trim and grosgrain ribbon as well as some black dotted tulle. It has two little hoops of ribbon attached to the underside with two hairclips for easy wearing.

Royal Vanilla Mini Tophat

One of my newest hats, Royal Vanilla. It is a miniature tophat that is approximately 13cm wide and 18cm high. It is decorated with creme and gold ribbons, roses and a small hatpin with a teardrop shaped pearl. It also has a big white ostrich plume. It is worn with the help of a comb attached to the underside but it also has two little hoops in which you can easily attach hairclips.

Secret Garden Misty Morning Mini Hat

This hat is definitely one of my absolute favorite ones! It is lovely and elegant and I would have kept it for myself if only I had something to wear it with. Alas, I have no such outfit so I am putting it up for Sale. 

The base is a creamy white with a light green rosepattern and the edges are decorated with a sort of minty green trim. It has several lovely flowers, leaves, ribbons and a peacock feather all in shades of white, cream and green that go very well together. It is worn with the help of two long green ribbons that can be tied underneath the chin.

Midnight Lure Mini Hat

This is a very small and dainty hat that suits all kinds of hairstyles and outfits. It has a black base and trim, just like Vespertine Blossom, however this one is decorated with black pearls on a silver chain, black dotted tulle and a small glittery black flower in the back. This one is also worn with the help of a black comb.

Vespertine Blossom Mini Hat

This one is a slightly bigger minihat. It is beautiful and elegant and works wonderfully with Gothic, Lolita or Aristocratic outfits. It has a black base, trim, ribbon and ostrich feathers. It is also decorated with black and silver flowers. It is easily worn with the help of a black comb attached to the underside.

Sweet Passion Valentina Mini Hat

A sweet little hat with a crimson base and white details, perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day! 

It has white trim along all edges, white ribbons and a small white rose at the back.It is relatively small and easy to wear thanks to two hairclips attached to the underside.

Polkadot Frill Mini Hat

This little hat has a lightblue base with slightly darker blue polkadots. It is decorated with Creme colored trim along the edges, broad Creme ribbon and a Pink Carnation at the back. On the underside it has little hairclips, just like the Winter Rose hat and the Wicked Witch hat.

Here it is worn with the Corset it was made to match. The colors are not exactly the same, but it was close enough considering I had no reference with me when I bought the materials for the hat.

Crimson Cameo Mini Tricorne

Here is yet another mini tricorne that I have made recently. 

The base is a deep red and it is decorated with slightly darker red trim, red ribbons, golden red thread and a red and creme white cameo. I haven't actually measured the hat itself, but the small tag laying next to it is exactly 10cm long. So it is a quite small and dainty hat, very light and easy to wear. This one, much like the Peacock Pirate, has a comb attached to the underside. 

It is currently displayed at Viola Lahger in Stockholm, Sweden.

Peacock Pirate Mini Tricorne

This is definitely one of my favorite hats. The base is a very wonky checkered brown and it has been shaped into the shape of a three cornered hat, also known as a Tricorne. It has been decorated with brown trim, brown grosgrain ribbon as well as peacock and pheasant feathers. It is worn with the help of the comb attached to the underside. 

It is currently displayed at Viola Lahger in Stockholm, Sweden.

Commission: Wicked Witch Mini Hat

I got this order about a week before Halloween. It was at the Halloween teaparty at Viola Lagher actually. 

The girl in question wanted a mini Witchhat to wear at a party the next weekend. All she requested was for it to be black and shaped like a traditional Witch hat. We also talked about adding some other color, but she left it to me to decide which one. 

In the end I made a hat that had a black base and was decorated with dark blue trim, blue flowers, black dotted tulle, blue ribbons and a couple of black stones dangling from little chains. This one, like the Winter Rose hat, has little hairclips attached to the bottom. 

I am really quite happy with the way it turned out and the girl who ordered it seemed equally pleased.

Pearl Pastry Mini Hat

When these pictures were taken this hat was affectionately named the Cake-hat. 

It has a very light mint-colored base and is decorated with snow-white pearls, ribbons, lace trim and tulle. It also has light green ivy leaves and pale pink flowers. The hat is attached to a white headband for easy wearing. 

It is currently displayed in Viola Lahger in Stockholm, Sweden.

Winter Rose Mini Hat

This is actually the first hat I ever made, believe it or not! I originally made it for myself, but since I haven't used it a single time I decided to put it up for sale~

Right now it is displayed in Viola Lahger in Stockholm.

The hat is completely snow-white with a lot of ribbons, roses and feathers in the same color. It also has silver lace trim around all of the edges.

It comes with two little hairclips so that it can easily be attached to your hair.
