Gatsby's Decline Corsage

Here is one of the Corsages I made a few months ago, Gatsby's Decline. It has a distinctly Steampunk theme with browns, beiges, greys and coppery red. It is a compilation of flowers, feathers, plumes, ribbons, berries, cogs and gears. On the back is a small metal plate with both a hairclip and a brooch needle attached so that it may be worn in a variety of different ways. It is maybe... 25cm high -ish. Better pictures and measurements can be provided.

Materials - Flowers

I was thinking it might be wise to show you some of the materials I have to work with. I spent over an hour yesterday sorting through all my flowers so I thought it would be easiest to start with them. 

So here they are, every single flower I have sorted by color. Well... almost anyway. I have been working on hats and accessories today so some of the flowers are still spread out across my livingroom floor. 

Secret Garden Misty Morning Mini Hat

This hat is definitely one of my absolute favorite ones! It is lovely and elegant and I would have kept it for myself if only I had something to wear it with. Alas, I have no such outfit so I am putting it up for Sale. 

The base is a creamy white with a light green rosepattern and the edges are decorated with a sort of minty green trim. It has several lovely flowers, leaves, ribbons and a peacock feather all in shades of white, cream and green that go very well together. It is worn with the help of two long green ribbons that can be tied underneath the chin.

Midnight Lure Mini Hat

This is a very small and dainty hat that suits all kinds of hairstyles and outfits. It has a black base and trim, just like Vespertine Blossom, however this one is decorated with black pearls on a silver chain, black dotted tulle and a small glittery black flower in the back. This one is also worn with the help of a black comb.

Vespertine Blossom Mini Hat

This one is a slightly bigger minihat. It is beautiful and elegant and works wonderfully with Gothic, Lolita or Aristocratic outfits. It has a black base, trim, ribbon and ostrich feathers. It is also decorated with black and silver flowers. It is easily worn with the help of a black comb attached to the underside.

Sweet Passion Valentina Mini Hat

A sweet little hat with a crimson base and white details, perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day! 

It has white trim along all edges, white ribbons and a small white rose at the back.It is relatively small and easy to wear thanks to two hairclips attached to the underside.
